ESC – Closing Plenary

The Plenary session was opened by ESC Secretary General, Mariano Garcia-Fernandez.

The following Agenda was proposed:

AGENDA:

1. Address of the ESC President

The audience was addressed by the ESC President, Domenico Giardini, whose mandate ended at the end of the Assembly.

  • There were 460 registered participants at the conference.
  • During the conference a NERIES evaluation was taking place in the same venue.
  • For the first time, SSA officers were formally present at ESC General Assembly.

The XXXII General Assembly of the ESC will take place in Montpellier, France, in Conference Centre Corum. More information will be available soon.

The IASPEI conference in Cape Town, South Africa (January 2009) was announced.

8. Closing words of the ESC President

President Giardini thanked everybody for an excellent meeting, congratulated the members of the LOC, the Executive Committee and the Council for the efficient organisation of the Assembly. In the end he made special thanks to the Secretaries.

The conference was officially closed on 12 September 2008 at 16:30.
